Our rules Our song and creed Our uniforms
Values in NSW Public Schools include integrity, excellence, respect, responsibility, cooperation, participation, care, fairness and democracy. These are underpinned by core rules in which all students in NSW Public Schools are expected to:
- attend every school day, unless they are legally excused, and be in class on time and be prepared to learn
- maintain a neat appearance, including adhering to the requirements of the school's uniform policy
- behave safely, considerately and responsibly, including when travelling to and from school
- show respect at all times for teachers, other school staff and helpers, including following class rules, speaking courteously and cooperating with instructions and learning activities
- treat one another with dignity and respect
- care for property belonging to themselves, the school and others
At Raglan Public School we are very proud of our values which we believe distinguishes our school from other schools.
We have five positive and easy to remember rules for all our students which are the foundations for our Student Discipline, Anti-Bullying and Anti-Racism policy which was developed in consultation with the school community in 2006.
Our school song and creed is recited each Monday at our whole school assembly along with the national anthem.
Our uniform is worn with pride and there is a strong expectation within our school community that all students wear our full school uniform daily.
